artist statement and resume
I’m fascinated by politics and the representation of power in the media. My recent works are informed by the traditions of political portraiture and history painting and are responses to the ongoing global political and economic crises. By photographing, cutting up and arranging found images with my own work, I seek to reconstruct events and create suggestive histories.
